Room Reservation Policy Updates

The House Office will begin reviewing and accepting reservations for student organizations and other groups beginning February 1, 2022.

Starting in January, 2022, only New College House residents may reserve spaces in our house, with the exception of the Multipurpose Room.

The MPR is available for all students, faculty, and staff to reserve. Non-NCH residents should email nch-west@collegehouses.upenn.edu for assistance reserving the MPR. Student organizations and other groups may reserve spaces, as long as an NCH resident submits the reservation and is responsible for the space.

We want NCH residents to be able to full utilize the spaces in their floor communities. Spaces on floors 3 to 13 may only be reserved by a resident of that specific floor. For example, only residents of the 3rd floor may reserve the 3rd floor community kitchen. NCH resident always have access to club rooms and study rooms throughout the building, but may only place reservations for spaces on their own floors.

We all do our part to care for NCH so that we can all make good use of spaces. This means cleaning up after ourselves, putting items away when using kitchen supplies, and throwing away trash and recycling in the appropriate containers.
